Common sense, like any other human feature, develops over time with the aid of experience. It would have been nice, however, to have a few built in common sense tidbits. Knowing not to pick up trash and put it in your mouth, knowing not to grab a running motorcycle’s exhaust pipe, and knowing not to expect any decent presents on your last birthday, for example.
