I like to think the phrase “I feel like I got hit by a bus” originated from someone who was powerful enough to be full-on hit by a speeding bus, drug by said bus for about 300 yards, and lived to complain about how it made them feel while going about the rest of their day.
I knew a kid that got hit by a bus.I’m not sure what he did that upset the bus though.
