I am old enough to remember not only the existence of 8-track players but the actual usage of 8-track players. My Dad’s truck had an 8-track player. I know we had a box full of 8-track tapes, but the only ones I can actually recall are Their Greatest Hits by The Eagles and Destroyer by Kiss. I can recall playing them over and over whilst inventing velcro and building fantastical flying machines.

I used to own a 67 VW beatle that had an 8 track with a power booster Eq and 10 inch Eminence speakers. I would go to the flea market when I lived in Kentucky and buy old Pink Floyd,Black sabbath and AC/DC tapes for it.People would give me county music by the box full most of the time.One of my favorites at the time was The Steve Miller Band. Thanks for taking me back……..I’m starting to feel my age today.
