I firmly believe that somehow, somewhere, sometime I slipped into an alternate universe. I really don’t have a lot to go aside from the fact that things usually just don’t feel right. I can’t shake the feeling that I’m supposed to be a King or Emperor of the Known Universe or something in the “real” universe.
Well, my friends. Life has officially caught up with me.
Due to several circumstances, at least seven of which are out of my control and five of which have teeth, I am taking a bit of a break. I promise to return shortly, and my return may well bring with it exciting, new projects that all, most, or some of you may enjoy. Thanks for reading, and please follow me on Twitter and on Facebook to keep up with the upcoming returning schedule.
Thanks again!
Today will mark the first missed update day since I started regularly updating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The truth is that I could have rushed a strip and had something up, but that’s not something I’m willing to do. I never want the quality of my work to suffer due to other responsibilities getting in the way. So please forgive me, but updates will resume on Wednesday.
Please take this opportunity to tell at least 100,000 of your friends about floodmud. And just by way of an approach you might use, tell them that your friendship depends on them visiting the site at least 27 times every week. That’d be totally awesome of you.
See you Wednesday!
This is the first flat-out blog I’ve written since beginning the comic about three months ago. I’m not sure how often I’ll offer these babblefests, but I doubt I’ll do them much unless I have something really amazing to say. Like this, for example:
I was recently interviewed by Shannon and Matt from Seattle Geekly. It was a very fun interview, my first for floodmud, and they managed to keep me from sounding like too much of an idiot. Their podcast is regularly awesome, so please check them out. The interview they conducted with me was just posted last night, so check it out immediately.
I also want to thank each and every one of you out there reading and watching. I hope you are enjoying yourself. Please let me know you are here from time to time. And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for all the latest in the world of floodmud.
